| Terms
and Conditions of Booking. Please read this
very carefully. When you book your holiday with us you are entering
into a contract which binds you and us in various ways.
- Terms. Our prices can be found both on this
web site and also in price list.
- Deposit and Booking Monies. A deposit of £100
per booking is required. This deposit is non-refundable on your
cancellation. The balance of the rental cost is due and payable
no later than six weeks before your holiday start date. If this
payment is not received before this time we reserve the right,
upon enquiry, to offer these date to others.
- Booking Confirmation. We will confirm your
booking in writing, at which point, a binding contract will come
into existence between us. The conditions of hire form the basis
of your contract.
- Cancellation by you. If you have to cancel
your holiday please telephone us immediately. We regret that we
will be unable to refund your initial payment in any circumstances.
If you have paid the full balance we will only make a refund if
we are able to re-let the property.
- Minors. We cannot accept bookings from anyone
under 18 years of age.
- Availability. Your booking is accepted on the
understanding that the property will be available for use on the
agreed date. However we reserve the right to cancel your booking
where “force majeure” (as defined in clause 7) arises.
In such cases our liability is limited to offering you a full
refund of monies paid to us. We cannot pay any compensation, expenses,
or costs you may incur as a result of such cancellation.
We have the right to refuse to hand over the accommodation to
any person(s) who in our reasonable opinion, is/are not suitable
to take charge of it. In such cases all hire charges paid will
be refunded in full, the contract shall be terminated and we will
have no further liability. If in our reasonable opinion any person(s)
is/are not suitable to continue the holiday because of unreasonable
behaviour, damage to the property or danger or significant annoyance
to others we reserve the right to terminate the contract. in such
cases the contract will be terminated, we will have no further
liability and no refund shall be due.
- Force Majeure. We cannot accept responsibility
or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance
of our contract is with you is prevented or affected by reason
of circumstances which amount to “force majeure”.
Such circumstances include any event which we could not, even
with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such circumstances include
the destruction or damage to property through fire, flood, explosion,
weather damage, break-in, criminal damage, or any similar event
beyond our control. Such circumstances include war, threat of
war, terrorist activity, nuclear or natural disaster and all similar
situations beyond our control.
- Occupancy. A minimum occupancy of four persons
is required, and a maximum of six, unless previously agreed by
the owner.
- Arrival and Departure times. Arrivals should
be between 4pm and 8pm on the first day. Please arrive no earlier
than 4pm and no later that 8pm unless by prior arrangement. If
you have been delayed you must call Deanshold to inform us that

must vacate Deanshold by noon on the day of departure. You are
obliged to leave everything in a clean and tidy condition.
- Liability. We cannot accept liability for any
damage, damage expense, injury death or loss of any nature whatsoever
other than in the case of our, or our employees proven negligence
or breach of statutory duty.
- Damage. You are responsible for any damage
or loss sustained to the property itself, or the contents therein
during your stay. Please be honest and report any damage to property
and its contents immediately to the owners. Damage and cost of
repairs/ replacement must be paid for on the spot. We have the
right to enter the accommodation (without notice) if special circumstances
or emergencies arise.
- Children. Children under 12 years of age must
be supervised at all times.
- Pets. Unfortunately, We do not allow pets.
- Accessibility. Deanshold is on two levels and
has steps to the bedrooms, living room and bathroom and is unsuitable
for anyone with mobility difficulties.
- Deanshold is strictly No Smoking. Smoking is
not allowed inside the rental property or patio/garden areas.
- Your Vehicles. Space for parking two cars is
provided within the properties grounds. Your vehicles(s), their
accessories and contents are left entirely at your own risk. We
accept no responsibility for any loss or damage from or to any
vehicles(s) from any cause whatsoever.
- Linen and Towels. All linen and towels are
provided. Guests staying for one week or more will have a change
of linen and towels on Saturdays and Wednesday (Unless otherwise
requested).
- Noise Nuisance. Please respect other people’s
privacy and not make noise after 11pm.
- Any shortcomings. Any shortcomings to the property
must be notified to us as soon as possible. We will make every
reasonable attempt to take remedial action.
- Personal Holiday Insurance. We strongly recommend
that you take out personal holiday insurance.
- Data Protection. We will not use the information
you provide for any other purpose than to process your holiday
booking.
When booking Deanshold we will confirm that you have read,
understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. |
